Today's high temperatures of 81 at Tallahassee, and 83 at Valdosta, mean those two cities have now waited later into the fall for a cool sub-70 degree high temperature than in any other year on record. VLD has broken that record by a week!

At TLH, the late records for getting an under-70 degree high temperature are:
11/20/2016 - 66 degrees
11/14/1919 - 67 degrees
11/14/1946 - 68 degrees
11/13/2013 - 57 degrees
11/13/1975 - 59 degrees
Historically, the first under-70 high temperature at Tallahassee occurs on October 22.

At Valdosta, the late records for getting an under-70 degree high temperature are:
11/13/2016 - 69 degrees
11/8/2013 - 69 degrees
11/8/1978 - 66 degrees
11/8/1974 - 66 degrees
11/6/1984 - 67 degrees
11/6/1972 - 69 degrees
Historically, the first under-70 high temperature at Valdosta occurs on October 20.
