Build Your Disaster Bucket is a program to assist residents in building a disaster kit to be prepared for a variety of disasters. Our first event was in 2022 and was a major success, and we are planning to do this again on May 3, 2025. We are asking for support from our businesses, organizations, and community partners to assist us in making this event better than the first.

We aim to provide residents with essential tools and resources to ensure their safety and resilience in the face of emergencies. To achieve our goals, we invite businesses, organizations, and others to donate specific items for the disaster kits, such as first-aid supplies, flashlights, and more. Additionally, they can participate by setting up informational booths, item booths, or offering volunteer support during the event. We encourage our community partners to help spread the word, reaching out to anyone and everyone to encourage attendance.

Together, we can create a stronger, more prepared community. Your involvement will not only enhance the event’s impact but also demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of our residents. Let’s unite and ensure that every family has the tools they need to face any challenge confidently.
